The Davis Vantage Pro2 Anemometer is a weather station built to a high standard that allows you to set up a station to measure and record the weather.

The Display Console

You will normally keep the display inside either connected wirelessly to the sensors or you can have them connected by wire if you prefer. Whilst connected the display will show all the data collected from the sensors with the display capable of showing all the collected data simultaneously.
Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) And Anemometer
The Davis Vantage Pro2 Anemometer has two outside devices the ISS and the Anemometer. The Anemometer records wind speed and direction. The ISS is used to record temperature, humidity, and rain. If you opt to get the additional solar and UV sensors these would also be fitted to the ISS.
They can be connected wirelessly or by wire to the display console plus the ISS has a solar panel to complement the internal battery. Extension cables can be bought if you need to connect the devices over a greater distance than 12 metres.
